We combined advanced diffusion #tractography and #functional #MRI with a data-driven #clustering approach. This allowed us to identify three subdivisions of the #arcuate #fasciculus—ventral, middle, and dorsal—each linked to unique roles in #language production, comprehension, and #cognitive functions.
This work sheds new light on this critical brain pathway's structural and functional organisation in both #hemispheres, with potential implications for understanding its role in health and disease.
