6th December 2022
The Utrecht Brain Conference is an initiative of several research groups and companies at Utrecht Science Park that focus on brain development, function and disorders. It is currently hosted by the UMC Utrecht Brain Center, the Neuroscience Institute of the UMC Utrecht. The Utrecht Brain Conference aims to build and maintain a campus-wide community around brain research, thereby fostering collaboration between academia and industry, and increasing the visibility of Utrecht Neuroscience.
This year’s edition will have a focus on neuroanatomy and imaging. The conference will take place on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 (Q auditorium, UMC Utrecht), and will feature two keynote speakers:
--> Dr. Mai-Lan Ho, Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus, Ohio) will talk about ‘Neurofluids: Anatomy, Physiology, and Imaging.’
--> Dr. Stephanie J Forkel, Associate Professor at the Donders Research Institute for Brain Cognition and Behaviour (Nijmegen, The Netherlands) will talk about ‘Mapping brain connections: from anatomy to the clinic’.
