Join our pre-OHBM2026 workshop

Emergent Properties of the connected brain

(obviously AI genereate)

In the week preceding OHBM 2026, we are hosted a focused workshop in Bordeaux, France, bringing together researchers and trainees working at the intersection of neuroanatomy, connectomics, and language neuroscience. The workshop was designed as an intensive, hands-on training environment, where participants were encouraged to bring their own datasets and work directly on their analyses with guidance from the instructors.

The programme will combine short methodological lectures with extended practical sessions on structural connectomics, diffusion MRI tractography, and white-matter pathway mapping and functional MRI. By working directly with their own data, participants are able to address methodological challenges specific to their projects, discuss analysis strategies with experts, and receive targeted feedback on tractography, anatomical interpretation, and connectome analysis.

By maintaining a small, interactive format centred on hands-on work with real datasets, the Bordeaux workshop fostered practical skill development, open discussion, and the advancement of ongoing research projects in human brain connectivity.
